Founder | Operational Strategist

Lauren Germinario is the founder of Evergreen Business Solutions and serves as the coordinating strategist for the Evergreen collective.

Her work centers on designing the operational architecture that allows founder-led companies, investment initiatives, and mission-driven ventures to move forward with clarity and stability. She is often engaged during periods of transition, growth, or complexity when thoughtful structure and disciplined execution are essential.

Over more than a decade working alongside entrepreneurs and operators, Lauren has supported ventures across industries including energy, hospitality, beauty, retail, and legal services. Her experience spans business formation, financial structuring, operational design, and strategic transaction support, contributing to more than $1 billion in completed transactions across the ventures she has helped guide.

Lauren is known for her ability to bring order and perspective to complex environments. Her approach combines disciplined operational thinking with an understanding that the people leading businesses are also navigating real lives, responsibilities, and decisions that extend far beyond the balance sheet.

Through Evergreen, Lauren curates and coordinates a collective of experienced advisors whose expertise can be assembled around the specific needs of each engagement. Her role is to ensure that the work of the collective moves with clarity, discretion, and a shared commitment to helping clients build ventures that operate with greater stability and ease.

Adam Shelton

A retired attorney with more than sixteen years of legal practice, Adam has represented clients across a wide range of high-stakes commercial matters and transactional environments. His experience includes leading legal representation for transactional portfolios exceeding one billion dollars across sectors including energy, commercial real estate, hospitality, and private capital markets.

Adam’s work focuses on helping leadership teams navigate legal complexity with clear strategic perspective. He frequently collaborates with executives, legal counsel, and investment partners to ensure that litigation strategy, regulatory considerations, and transaction planning remain aligned with broader business objectives.

Within the Evergreen collective, Adam provides disciplined analysis and strategic guidance in situations where legal, financial, and operational decisions intersect.

Ilana Austin

Executive Talent & Leadership Strategy Advisor

Ilana Austin advises Evergreen clients on executive recruitment and leadership strategy, helping organizations identify and secure the talent required to support growth, stability, and long-term organizational success.

With more than a decade of experience in global executive recruiting, Ilana has supported companies across industries including electrical distribution, consumer products, financial technology, broadcasting, and sales leadership. She is particularly known for her ability to fill complex or “hard to fill” roles where the right combination of technical expertise, leadership capability, and cultural alignment is essential.

Ilana works closely with founders and executive teams to clarify hiring priorities, refine role definitions, and navigate competitive hiring environments. Katelyn Mattson advises mission-driven organizations on development strategy, organizational alignment, and sustainable growth. She works with nonprofits and philanthropic initiatives at pivotal moments, helping leadership teams clarify priorities, strengthen governance, and build fundraising systems that support long-term impact.

With more than a decade of leadership in the nonprofit sector, Katelyn has guided organizations across the arts, civic initiatives, community programs, and public media. Her work integrates development strategy, major gifts, grant management, corporate sponsorships, and board engagement to ensure that mission, funding, and communications operate in alignment.

Before her advisory work, Katelyn served in leadership roles including public radio director and development strategist. She is also a classical musician and published writer, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to the organizations she supports.

Within the Evergreen collective, Katelyn helps nonprofit and mission-driven organizations strengthen their financial sustainability, governance structures, and strategic clarity so they can expand their impact with confidence.
